WelshDevilRob
Re: Mitchell vs Arreola Result Seth Mitchell reminds me of a US version of Larry Olubamiwo - strong and powerful but any time he steps up and gets hit back, he crumbles. Arreola trained hard for this fight and I hope he keeps it going.

So much for the heirs to the Great American Heavyweight and Mayweather. Broner will derail or be stuck in jail soon enough, but I applaud Mitchell's spunk and discipline for getting this far. He could still be like a gatekeeper, but I'd imagine Hayman is gonna dump him, so he'll have to sign with Main Events to get a piece of their growing heavyweight stables and adjust to a lower purse. Hayman and 2Bits are losing badly these days which should improve the survival of Golden Boy if Oscar can ever recover from his substance abuse and hosiery debacles that has left him a neutered all time great in shambles. davemurphy
Re: Mitchell vs Arreola Result Mitchell just another in a long line of American Football Players that thought brute force would translate from the Gridiron into the Ring. Former Minnesota Viking Ray Edwards is currently 4-0 and will learn the same thing that Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Alonzo Highsmith, and now Seth Mitchell have learned, you don't transition into boxing as a second choice, you learn to box as a youngster in the gym. He wasn't making any money and couldn't crack the wise guy market that controls the sport. Guaranteed if a Too Tall came along today, Hayman would snap him up pronto and throw a 3rd world budget's worth of dough at him to develop him into a contender. Jess Willard was a cowboy taking up boxing way late and smashed what many considered then and even now the greatest heavy, JJohnson. Willard even had to take a year off to make the fight and wasn't but about 3 yrs younger than Johnson. Been a couple of 'rasslers and martial arts guys that took of boxing with some titles and I daresay it will happen again when the right guys get hungry and ambition with enough luck to get some decent training.
