Sonnen asked Evans on Twitter what he was doing on Nov. 16. Evans said nothing and asked, 'What's up?" Sonnen replied by Tweeting the poster above. Though the fight is not the main event -- That will be the welterweight title bout between Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks -- it was a good match that fans seemed interested in. And on Wednesday, the UFC made it official, announcing the bout on the pre-fight show on Fox Sports 1 for UFC Fight Night 28. It will be a three-round light heavyweight match on Nov. 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Sonnen and Evans are frequent broadcast partners on Fox Sports 1 and have a good relationship. Sonnen is 29-13-1 and is coming off a stunning first-round submission of Mauricio "Shogun" Rua last month in Boston. Evans is 18-3-1 and is coming off a split-decision win over Dan Henderson at UFC 161 in June. More...
