Re: Which of these fights has the best chance of an upset?

Choose from one of the following:

Alexander Povetkin beating Wladimir Klitschko

--- Povetkin on paper has zero chance of winning and will be the huge underdog compared to the others. His chance is with the bout being in Russia financed by dubious sources and all that implies not that the Ruskies would ever have anything over the US or Brits as far as staging rigged fights.

Fury and Alvarez could easily win by KO if they land their shot, something Povetkin won't have for himself as one example. We'll have to see which jurisdiction stages the most fairly officiated, legit fight soon enough.

Great topic idea, Rob!!!! Let's go back to this one when we have several of these type of "obvious favorite" fights on the horizon. I give Povetkin the worst chance of the three, I can't even fathom the idea that he'll even be there at the end, he's going to get battered. I think the same of Fury, but at least there is a chance that he might catch Haye and also David hasn't been the most active, but I really think that Fury is going to make the cardinal mistake of trying to boxing with Haye and not put his weight on him and make it a dirty fight like he would need to do to have a chance. I think Fury will fight a dumb fight and get stopped. So, as little as I think of his chances, and even though I still believe Floyd Mayweather is the best fighter on the planet.....................I'm going to have to say that, of the three, Canelo Alvarez is the one I see most likely of pulling an upset.

That being said, I think the group is going 0-3. Maybe you can get a specialty bet in the UK on some kind of a trifecta

I wanted to say Povetkin but he looked very poor against Marco Huck. Granted Huck is a different kind of fighter to Wlad. Povetkin, while remaining unbeaten, seems to have gotten worse.

He could well be the one able to close the gap and get inside of Wlads long jab but I doubt the commitment, and balls, to do so is there.

I think Fury will get frustrated with the slick moving Haye and get clumsy and tagged. Fury has the size but I can't him staying disciplined and trying to keep the fight at long range.

Alvarez, has achieved alot but this still feels a big jump-up, in class. Floyd will probably boxed and befuddle him.

I'll chose Povetkin but with no real conviction - he might just try and seize the moment, in his native Russia.
