East Side Boxing Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 Wolverhampton super featherweight, Des Bowater, is looking to make it a hat-trick of professional victories when he appears on the undercard of Jason Welborn and Max Maxwell’s British Masters Light Middleweight Title fight at Walsall Town Hall on Saturday. The 22 year-old switched to the paid ranks in May and since then has chalked up two impressive victories – against Michael Stupart and Harvey Hemsley respectively. On Saturday, he faces fellow 22 year-old, Chichester’s Jonathan Fry (1-7-1) at the venue where he made his debut just four months ago. “I can’t wait,” he told http://www.uko-boxing.com. “I’ve seen a few clips of Fry and he’s a step up from Stupart and Hemsley, which is what I wanted. This is a harder fight than my first two. “He has good power and likes to come and fight, which suits me. He’s similar to Stupart but he comes forward a lot more.
