East Side Boxing Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 WBA, WBC & WBO Female Welterweight Champion Cecilia Braekhus (22-0, 6 KOs), the pound-for-pound number one, caught up with the Norwegian media in Oslo today. On Saturday, she will take on unbeaten WBO Light Middleweight Champion Oxandia Castillo (12-0-2, 9 KOS) at the Nordic Fight Night in Frederikshavn, Denmark. “One of us will remain an unbeaten, the other one will have the first loss of her career,” Braekhus said. “I will make sure that I keep a perfect record and defend my titles as well as my pound-for-pound rating. I have worked so hard to be the number 1. I will not allow anybody to take that away from me.” Said coach Georg Bramowski: “We know that Cecilia is the better boxer, but Castillo is physically very strong and has a lot of power. Cecilia needs to fight smart and outbox her. It will be very difficult, facing punchers is always dangerous.
