Hot Prospect Bruno Escalante returns to the ring September 28 at the Cache Creek Casi

Recommended Posts

August 15, 2013 – Super Flyweight prospect Bruno Escalante (9-1-1, 5KOs) is looking to return to action following his victory over Manuel Galaviz back on July 26th. The 24 year old Philippine native will be competing Saturday, September 28th in an 8 round affair against Joseph Rios (13-8-2, 4KOs) in the co-main event of a card being held at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, California. Rios, who resides in Texas, will have to travel to hostile territory in order to compete in front of a packed house in Escalante’s home state of California. Although Escalante is originally from the Philippines, he enjoys a healthy fan base in the state he now resides and that fan base will completely occupy the venue’s capacity. “It’s a great feeling when you have a building full of your supporters and they’re cheering you on, it can really make a positive impact in your performance. I’m excited to be the co-main event and everyone keeps sending me their best regards and telling me they can’t wait to see me in action. I want to really give them a show and even though I’m the co-feature, I will be giving a main event type performance.
