TommyLeeWannabe
RDS.ca == Boxing Former world champion Carl Froch will meet Germany's Arthur Abraham in their huge final round Super Six fight in Montreal on September 18. The Canadian city will be the neutral site for the super-middleweight showdown. "Carl knows that he has to win to stay in the Super Six," said his promoter Mick Hennessy. Source : Mirror.co.uk == Yvon Michel, GYM's owner, said in the first text that they call him to organize the match in Montreal spetember 18th. But he says it's not a done deal. WelshDevilRob
Good idea. A neutral venue is needed for this fight and having seen Bute's last fight - they certainly put on a show. The loser is possibly out of the tournament but still a very formidable opponent for Lucien Bute.

TommyLeeWannabe
Maybe, but Yvon Michel doesn't have the rights on Lucian Bute. It's the other Montreal's promotion, Interbox. So, maybe Yvon Michel will try to negociate a fight with Jean Pascal.
Wheelchair
Well the Grand Prix in Montreal is often the best one of the year, hopefully a good omen for Froch-Abraham.
TommyLeeWannabe
Yvon Michel says in his column on RDS.ca that if Showtime doesn't want local boxers on the undercard, he won't organize it. He's talking about David Lemieux.
iamasadlittleboy
Lemiuex has a fight coming up, is he as good as people are saying? (one of the better prospects that seems to have passed me by rather embarassingly)
TommyLeeWannabe
Lemieux never faced some good boxers. Just some random guys to pump up his record. But, true, quite impressive for a 21 years old boxer.
