Vázquez Jr. is in preparation for first defense of his title May 29th against unbeaten and Universum promoted Zsolt Bedak (15-0, 5 KOs) of Hungary. The bout will take place at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico with PR Best Boxing (Iván and Peter Rivera) in association with All Star Boxing’s Félix ‘Tutico’ Zabala promoting the event titled ‘Undefeated Champions.’ Vázquez Jr. was not shy at all about what style of fight he wants to see come fight night. “I like my fights fought at close quarters. I always welcome a toe to toe fight,” said Vázquez Jr. The co-feature will have WBO super featherweight champion Román ‘Rocky’ Martínez (23-0-1, 14KOs) of Puerto Rico defending against Gonzalo Munguía (17-6-3, 13KOs) of Nicaragua.
