Wheelchair
A prime Tyson chops down Bowe easily. He's just too big a target for Mike to miss with bodypunches, and then swift uppercuts to the head. Riddick will fall quickly and be demoralised like he was against Lennox in the Olympics.
LondonRingRules
Re: Iron Mike v Bowe Right guys the fight could of happened but never did so who wins and how? ------- Neither was up for it when it was possible during Mike's comeback. It was a nice manuever of smoke and mirrors that sees them ranked as high as they were then given how many they ducked. Tyson: Bowe, Lewis, Foreman Bowe: Tyson, Lewis, Foreman or any big guy with a punch.

In fairness, Tyson did eventually fight Lewis, but he certainly did avoid him for a while, giving up the WBC title rather than face Lennox. WelshDevilRob
I believe this would be all Tyson. One way traffic. I think Tyson beats him similar to the way he beat Pinklon Thomas, maybe even a round or so quicker. I never really rated Bowes defence and if Tyson gets to hit you repeatedly then there is only one outcome. Tyson has the handspeed, chin and power over Bowe. McBride
I think a lot depends on which Bowe turns up. A motivated Riddick would fight back,.meaning Tysons mental fragility comes into play. An unmotivated Bowe means an easy nights work for Tyson.

jlp
A slightly cautious Tyson wins a wide UD. Bowe's defence looks massively improved but his offence suffers.

I don't see why Tyson would have been cautious? I think he would have relished the chance to beat on Bowe.

Tyson loved to drive in a wicked right to the body followed by a swift right uppercut on the chin. The size of Bowe's body would make him a great target for Tyson's favourite combination. Londy
i think it was called the BOLO punch like you said 1 to the body and uppercut straight after or i just invented that name BOLO,sure i got it from 1 of the tyson video,s? yeah tyson would have easy beaten big daddy bowe for me,just would have to much in is arsenal for bowe to handle, thats i how see the fight, bowe was no buster douglas, that performance he pulled out the bag to beat tyson was a good en alright, combined with the size power and not forget his speed although be it the long count in the fight, tyson never really lost in his prime for me only to the long count and to the demons inside his unstable mind at times, tyson by KO for me nice n early
Wheelchair
No, a bolo punch is one that you do by swinging your arm back over your shoulder and then turn into an uppercut. Another variation is to swing one arm back over your shoulder and then punch with the other arm. Ray Leonard used to use it quite effectively at times, you'll see him using it against Hagler if you watch the fight.

Wheelchair
Ceferino Garcia is commonly referred to as the inventor of the bolo punch, though a 1924 article appearing in the Tacoma News-Tribune reported a Filipino boxer named Macario Flores to be using it. Garcia, Kid Gavilan and Sugar Ray Leonard are widely recognized as three of the best bolo punchers in boxing history. When asked once how he came to develop the wide sweeping uppercut, Garcia said that as a youth he cut sugarcane in the Philippine Islands with a bolo knife, which he would wield in a sweeping uppercut fashion.
