Faulks
Boxing superstar Miguel Cotto radiates confidence during today’s training session in Tampa with his Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward. “It’s been an incredible camp,” said Cotto. “I feel really good and ready for June 5, I don’t have any doubt that I will win my fourth world title at the Yankee Stadium.” http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/cotto-looking-sharp-45638

Wheelchair
I don't think he's shot. With the right training and gameplan he could yet be a threat at 154lbs.
LondonRingRules
WEll whats peoples thoughts on the upcoming fight guys? Easy win for Miguel or is he completely shot to bits now? ------- The nasty break up of his training family, death of his father, and two all time near consecutive beatings in a very competitive career sees him on a downslide. Manny Steward, WTF? Might be better getting another tattoo for all that's gonna do. That said, I was surprised at how tough his brother was against Alvarez at a higher weight, and Cotto has a similar, heavy boned structure. If he comes in a bob/weave with some confidence and awkward wide hooks from nowhere, he still packs some power and could do it. Foreman is a solid, bigger, stronger boxer who should be able to pick him off at distance and muscle up on him though. Could be a good scrap if Cotto brings his heart to it. TheBigTodd
I watched the Colottey fight again yesterday (damn i love working from home), between that Marg and Pac he has taken some real heavy beatings. It will be interesting to see how and if that has taken its toll.
gavpowell
He didn't take that much of a beating against Pacquiao except to his arms.

I guess just cos he was hit hard enough to go down a couple of times.
gavpowell
I thought you were talking about Clottey Pacquiao actually, so that was a cockup! But yeah, after the first knockdown he sweemed to go into a running shell as he seemed to be short on energy.

Faulks
Im sorry but he was pretty busted up against Pac, the Clottey fight 'might' of gone the other way if he hadnt at been at the garden on the Eve of the parade..

Aye maybe, fair play to him for not calling it a day at the end of round 4 or 5 with the cut though as he knew he was ahead on the cards (rnd 1 KD) and the ref said it was accidental (which it was). Faulks
Yeah i was in attendance that night and at the end a lot of the Ricans were worried it might of gone the other way. A draw was a high possibility at the very least. Watching back i think Cotto nicked it through Clotteys inability to finish it.... It shut a lot of the idiots up with their cottos no heart he's a quiter crap
grapevine241
unless foreman stinks it out, cotto has a good shot. i dont know how he will be at 154 though
WelshDevilRob
I haven't seen Foreman fight yet. From what I know he is sound technically but lacks pop. Cotto has a very high skillset and under new guidance from Manny Steward - I would expect him to win this fight. When Foreman won the belt a few fighters like Pacman targeted him almost as if it was an easy way to pick up another weight division.

Wheelchair
With regard to the poll, I've gone for Cotto on points.

Cotto is a very talented fighter that has not had a corner his whole career. Fought the greatest and will continue to fight the greatest. Manny will help him even more. I hope there is a rematch with Margarito and Pacman in the future. Everyone says the rematch with Pacman will be boring... not with a world class trainer it won't, and especially not with the amount of action packed fights we are due to have in 2010 and the potential of even better fights in 2011.
