Felix Sturm to fight Mayorga

WBA World Middleweight Champion Felix Sturm could return in late summer against Ricardo Mayorga according to DKP, which is trying to stop Mayorga from competing in an MMA match this weekend.

I can see Don King pulling the plug on Mayorga's mma fight on the very morning of the fight.

Two names that mean nothing to me now, why not just make Sturm-Mayorga AS a MMA Fight? :) .......to me that's more interesting than a Middleweight Champion that won't leave Germany other that for the one fight he's know for, or a shot JMW that's completely worn out his welcome.

You gotta laugh at Don King. He's really shooting blanks, a stable full of hasbeens and neverwas's..........trying to put together Mayweather-Spinks, bringing Judah up in the Ring to challenge Alexander, trying to get Mayorga a shot at Sturm. Hell, he doesn't even have John Ruiz to recycle anymore.

Alexander and Cloud are interesting young Champions, but oh how the mighty have fallen.

That's a good point, I guess there's always the chance Sturm could get hurt during the fight and Mayorga would be the new Champion. If your going to be the "opponent" as it looks like he will be, then make it a title fight, you never know.
