East Side Boxing Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Undefeated Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) seems to think he’s doing former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) by choosing to fight him on September 28th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK. Fury feels that the 32-year-old Haye didn’t have a lot of options for his next fight until he came along and agreed to fight him. At their press conference today, Fury said as quoted by Sky Sports “Let’s not get things confused here. You’re the dog and I’m chucking you a bone. Before the Tyson Fury fight where were you going to go, who were you going to fight? Nobody. I’m giving you a chance. I’m the young up and comer, the one on everyone’s tongue. You’re the one that stinks the place out and blames it on your toe.” I think Fury is kidding himself. He is mentioned a lot, but mostly because he’s putting himself out in the media by giving tons of interviews and constantly coming up with over the top comments on his twitter page.
