Wheelchair
http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/johnson-returns-with-ko-44404 Just what you've all been waiting for, Kirk 'Spare-Tyre' Johnson is back in the ring. Check out the pictures in the link above, exactly what boxing needs, more out of shape lard-arse fighters. There should be a 'ripped-muscle' test before these 'Michelin-Men' are allowed in the ring. Fighters should not be paid when they come into the ring in that state. Or when they make no effort to win I quite agree mate. Years ago I was ringside for a fight at the Albert Hall. One of the preliminary bouts was Michael Bentt facing a journeyman. The said journeyman danced into the ring, and while being announced, was examining parts of the canvas to see where it was softest. One the bell went he made a big show of going down from a nothing punch, and proceeded to take a nap on the piece of canvas he'd reconnoitered earlier! Wheelchair
Thats Kirk Johnson the Canadian heavy not Kevin Kingpin Johnson. Yes, we know. He also fought Vitali after Klitschko has lost to Lewis. Kirk was KO'd in just two rounds.

dulais_valley
;) one fat K Johnson in the division is too many! Kirk has got one of those horrible fat stomachs that obviously at one point was much fatter than it is now (incredibly) and just sags like a cows udder from his gut. Don't see an awful lot of point in a comeback for him now. All about the $ no doubt.

LondonRingRules
Re: Yawn. Another Heavyweight Fattie! http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/johnson-returns-with-ko-44404 Just what you've all been waiting for, Kirk 'Spare-Tyre' Johnson is back in the ring. ------ Laugh at your own risk. The guy was as seriously talented as he was mentally fragile. If he's matured mentally and his natural attributes are at 80% of prime, he could become a fringe contender, maybe even knocking off one of the contenders. That's decent money on undercards in need of heavy action. Need to see much more than beating the lowest ranking heavy they could patch together a fight with. Regardless, as a former high ranking contender/challenger, he's gatekeeper material for cherry picking heavy prospects looking to crack the fringe. He was in no worse shape that some versions of Holmes and Ali that showed up late in their careers, or Bowe for all his post title career.

WelshDevilRob
Pretty decent skilled Heavyweight but his commitment to the game disappeared. Was in terrible shape in the end.
riz
Funny thing, I actually know his cousin. He had solid speed for a guy his size man. He's up there in age now, but I still think he can beat many fighters in the division. He still doesn't come in as overweight as most heavyweight fighters, and this was after a 4 year layoff too.
