Which British Prospects have the potential to be World Champ?

 

Quite alot of bright prospects around in the UK. Which ones do you think can go all the way and who is likely to have the most successful career?

 

My pick is Nathan Cleverly (19-0, 9 Ko's) and the current holder of British, Commonwealth and European titles.

 

6′ 3½″ and only 23. He seems to have lots of ability and can box or brawl. Still not the finished article and plenty of room for improvement. He's added abit of power aswell.

 

I think he can really challenge at World level in a year or so time and if he keeps improving, he could be around for a very long time.

 

Who do you think has the best chance?

Groves.

 

Though cleverly, brook and gavin are worth a shout

Cleverly looks very good as does Rendall Munroe.

 

If he improves then maybe Darren Barker could win a title, as could Kevin Mitchell with a bit of luck.
