Paul Smith "It's win or bust in Tony Dobson rematch"

Recommended Posts

Paul Smith believes the it could be the end of the road for the loser of his clash with Tony Dodson for the vacant British super middleweight title fight at the USN Bolton Arena on June 29, live on Sky Sports in Betfair’s ‘Rock & Croll’.

The Liverpool pair meet in a rematch of their 2010 bout, which saw Smith claim the British title with a unanimous decision, and the 30 year old knows defeat in Lancashire is not an option for either fighter.

“Of course, it is going to be hard for whoever loses the fight,” said Smith. “This is the biggest fight of my life because every fight I have is the biggest fight of my life. Any fight I lose could be the end because I don’t want to be one of those fighters who are getting losses, coming back, getting losses, coming back.

This is the same Paul Smith that took part in the USA vs UK version of The Contender a few years back, right? The one Trainer Pepe Corerra went crazy over and guaranteed would be a world champion.

The very same...also the same one that called Bud a drunk, said he was too small for Super Middleweight yet stayed there and threatened to sue me and generally seems like a piece of shit....

Well, Bud's choice of ID name kind of makes that an easy shot to take, although why he'd resort to that is beyond me. Can't say I'm disappointed that his career hasn't gone as hoped.........Go Dodson!
