The_budweiser
Ringnews24.com: What inspired you to become a boxer? I grew up around boxing at a young age. My dad was commonwealth champion in the 1980's and I used to watch his videos as a kid, so you could say that it was him that inspired me. He was never in a dull fight. It was that and a combination of being a hyperactive kid that took me to my local boxing gym. Ringnews24.com: Did you have an amateur career? If so, could you tell us a little about it? I had a long amateur career with Dagenham ABC. I was trained by the O'Sullivan brothers, Shaun and Danny. Danny recently was the MC at the Olympic games. I had about 22 fights with the club including 3 fights in America. I then made a move to West Ham ABC. I trained there for just over a year and had a couple of fights with them. All in all I had roughly 24 fights as an amateur. http://ringnews24.com/index.php/interviews/item/4926-ringnews24-talks-with-ediz-hussein Edited May 30, 2013 by the_budweiser
