Re: Chinese Olympic Gold Medalist ZOU SHIMING Signs With Top Rank

It COULD be too late for Zou to make a huge impact, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't fast tracked to a world title shot inside 2 years. The guy was special and it's a shame it's taken THIS long for him to convert. China currently have a men's world champion Xiong Zhao Zhong (WBC Minimumweight) though he got his title thanks to the politics of the WBC, I think Zou could could claim one on merit IF (huge if) he can get down to 108 or 105, sadly 112 is stacked to the heavens with current and prospective talent (Ioka and Gonzalez will likely move to 112 soon, then you have Viloria, Mthalane, Maqruez, Igarashi, Fuentes, Sosa, Melindo, Garcia, Solis, Concepcion, Yaegashi has moved up......)
