Faulks
Kessler has enlisted the help of top coach Jimmy Montoya ahead of his SuperSix fight with Carl Froch in Denmark on April 17. Montoya has replaced long-time trainer Ricard Olsen in the wake of Kessler's shock defeat to Andre Ward. "I am really looking forward to working with Jimmy," said Kessler. "Just like Joe Calzaghe, Ward managed to take my strengths away from me. Neither my corner nor I found any solutions during the fight. "It was a very hard decision to part company with my dear friend Richard Olsen, who has been in my corner in every fight. He made me the fighter I am today – without him I would never have made it to this level. Click here for more Kessler added: "The fight against Froch is the most important of my career. I will work hard to win this battle and show my great fans what the Viking Warrior is really made of." Montoya, who runs the famous Montoya Boxing Gym, has the experience of 15 world title fights and has worked with the likes of Hector Comacho and Alexis Arguello. "Mikkel is a great warrior, with the heart of a champion," he said. "It was not the real Mikkel against Ward. He will be his best against Froch and put on a great performance to pave his way to success in the SuperSix tournament." Froch knows Kessler, stung by defeat, will be a handful on his home turf. "It's my job to go over to his backyard and prove who the top dog in the division is," he said. "If anything Kessler will now be more dangerous. But it will make no difference to the outcome." Matray
Maybe Kessler has difficulties adapting to the style of his opponents, but what about Froch, is he better? I think that with a lot more will, a new experienced trainer and the fact that he's fighting at home, Kessler got the keys to make a huge comeback. Faulks
Very tough fight for carl this. Kessler has it all to prove after his last outing. Anyone who thinks carl will walk it or kessler for that matter is sadly mistaken. Could well end on cuts. That's where my money is going anyway
