The_budweiser
was wondering who use guys think would win? i think this fight could be nathans chance to show the world how good he really is . nathans got alot stronger over the years and is looking really comfortable at this division. i can see him beating and possibly stopping jones. and getting some needed world wide publicity. grapevine241
not a fight i want to see, but id give nathan the win by TKO whenever he catches jones clean, probably within the first four rounds
TommyLeeWannabe
True, Jones should retire. When do you think was the best time to Jones to retire ?
Carden
I haven't seen that many of his fights, but it seems like it's still to early for him to face someone like Jones, even if Jones is well past his prime and should retire. Jones has just faced the better competition.
javid
no way cleverly is definately overated roy even at age 40 still possess great speed and is still faster then cleverly. i agree that roy has lost his punch resistance but if he stays off the ropes thn nathan hasn't got a chance.maybe i'm being a little harsh but roy jones is my favourite fighter of all time and i think it is an insult to roy to even think about a fight with nathan. WelshDevilRob
True, Jones should retire. When do you think was the best time to Jones to retire ? I think Jones should have retired after winning the Heavyweight title from John Ruiz. He lost weight to get back down to Light Heavyweight and that seemed to affect him alot. McBride
no way cleverly is definately overated roy even at age 40 still possess great speed and is still faster then cleverly. i agree that roy has lost his punch resistance but if he stays off the ropes thn nathan hasn't got a chance.maybe i'm being a little harsh but roy jones is my favourite fighter of all time and i think it is an insult to roy to even think about a fight with nathan. Unfortunately that speed is only in his hands. His legs are f***ed, and anyone can easily force him to the ropes these days, and that is when its all over. Cleverly KO inside 5 rounds, due to Jones being useless today, as opposed to NC being that good.
Wheelchair
Roy is a shell nowadays, Cleverly inside three rounds.
Brick Top
Jones still takes this for me at the moment with a UD, Im not all that convinced about Cleverly yet

Obama
I'd like to actually see Cleverly fight someone remotely on Jones level first. The guy has been icing complete bums.
Sheils
I think there is a chance Cleverly could win it. He does need to face a bit of a tougher challenge, but he is making progress in the division, and will no doubt hold a version of the world title sometime soon. Cleverly wins on points. Brick Top
Jones still takes this for me at the moment with a UD, Im not all that convinced about Cleverly yet Jones is finished. He's far far from what he was, but still made a mockery of Jeff Lacy, who although has been found out before, has more credibility than Nathan Cleverly at the minutes whos fought no where near the same level of opposition
Wheelchair
Even more likely to be a Cleverly win after Jones' last 'performance'.
RAZZ-MCFC
i think it is an insult to roy to even think about a fight with nathan. it was an insult that Danny Green got to fight him but that still happened when i 1st saw this thread i thought it meant a Prime RJJ vs a prime Cleverly, started to think you were going crazy Bud at this point in time, or at least when you made the thread i think it'd be a close fight, still not set on Cleverly but i know Roy is shot to bits nowadays i think whoever wins, wins by a close decision, would probabaly give Clev the edge
