leerhodes
Kell Brook is on course to land a crack at Manny Pacquaios WBO welterweight title. The British Champion unbeaten in 20 fights faces Polands Krzysztof Bienes in an eliminator for the Filipinos crown at Wembley Arena on Feb 13th
Otley Snr
interesting fight...good step up...looking forward to seeing how Kell does Job Biscuit (Kell got all the tools to go on and win things)!! eh eh!!!
gemmell100
that pole is a decent opearator his record is 39-3. but he hasn't really fought good fighters. witter did him in 2 rounds years back. can see kell taking 4 rounds to get rid of him,
telboy66
Kell will take care of this guy easy but talk of being primed up for Pacquaio is well premature, & anyway why the rush time is on this side
leerhodes
telboys post Totally agree with Telboys post.Im a massive fan of KELL and am glad he is stepping up in class with his opponents as i think in my opinion he will be a future world champion, but i would have liked to see him go for the european title first ,defend it a couple of times before having an eliminator for a world title.Ryan Rhodes wasnt quite ready when he fought for the world title at a young age and it knocked his career and confidence back a lot . mofo2
Ive warmed to Kell over the last 12 months as I was always a little sceptical, but he'll never be ready to face the likes of Manny...the man is on a different planet to virtually everyone! telboy66
I see this haste to put Brook in with Pacquaio much the same as the way Michael Jennings was fed to Cotto no way was he or ever would he be ready & the same would be the case with Kell against Manny, Michael has only had two very low key fights since Cotto took him apart so we don't know yet of any lasting damage to his confidence. The only reason for taking a fight with Pacquaio will be purely financial not ambition but at extreme risk. Years ago the board of control had control & would fine boxers that disobeyed their ruling on mismatches they fined Brian London when he went to USA to fight Paterson & he had more chance than Jennings or Brook but these days the board keeps very quiet
Brick Top
It says he's heading towards Mannys title but Id be very suprised if Mannys holding that title when he gets there. Its more likely to be vacant or held by someone else, Manny will either be retired or too busy fighting the likes of Mayweather to worry about madatories. A little skeptical is an understatement haha, I picked him out when he was 4-0 and you wrote him off as a shite naz clone mlol/ Your right on him never being good enough for manny, although i wouldnt predict anyone to be, even in 2007 when manny was beating up Diaz at 135 i would not of said he would go on to beat Hatton, oscar and Cotto I would of called anyone who disagreed a complete idiot hahaha
