boxrec Posted January 21, 2013 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Yesterday, promoter Frank Warren announced several bouts set to take place as part of a show at Wembley Arena on March 16th. Ricky Burns’ unification bout against Miguel Vazquez rightly took all the headlines. Further down the list was a proposed defence of Liam Walsh’s Commonwealth super-featherweight title against his mandatory challenger, Canadian Logan McGuinness. As things stand, it’s not happening and McGuinness’ camp are outraged at what they perceive to be “disgraceful” preferential treatment afforded to British fighters by the Commonwealth Boxing Council (CBC). read more More...
