gavpowell
Burns by a country mile. As Usain Bolt would say "Number 1 Baby all day every day"
iamasadlittleboy
Burns. The second best Lightweight on the planet.
Meathead
Mitchell on points. I like Burns, he's come on leaps and bounds, but he just doesn't hit hard enough to keep Mitchell off him. My only worry with Mitchell is that Burns seems to have grown in to lightweight well, whereas Mitchells best days seemed to be at super feather. brooklynbrawler
Mitchell on points. My only worry with Mitchell is that Burns seems to have grown in to lightweight well, whereas Mitchells best days seemed to be at super feather. Imo he doesn't have to keep Mitchell off him at all...if Mitchell just wades forward, then he's playing into Burns hands, given he is a technically superior boxer and has a speed advantage as well. I don't like to install Burns as the favourite, as it's good being pleasantly surprised by his performances against fighters I think will cause him trouble. It's becoming more and more difficult to write him off, but I think this will be a relatively close contest at the end of the day. Mitchell has plenty to his game also, so I can see this bout taking a few different waves, where one guy is on top, where hopefully, Burns is the ultimate winner. I do like Mitchell as well though, so won't be massively disappointed if it goes the other way. As long as it goes to the best man on the night, and there's no controversy... irondave85
Mitchell is the more naturally talented of the two, but Burns is more reliable and and mentally tougher. I'm going with the more consistent Burns over twelve rounds.
Skav
Mitchell is from my hometown so emotionally I'd have to pick him. Mentally, I can't pick a winner. A genuine 50/50 fight.

I meant smart pressure. Not the in your face Katsidis kind of pressure. Ill concede the speed advantage but I disagree thats hes the technically superior boxer. He can jab and move well, his footwork is great, but I really dont think there is that much between them technically.
Ton
I prefer Mitchells style, but Burns is no doubt the better boxer. I think Burns will get a decision win. Hope it's a decent contest tough.
