As this would appear to be by reading other post limited to current boxers I find it impossible to find ten apart from the Klitschko's, the rest of the worlds motley crew just put in any order you like they are all bums.As for British Heavies Haye, Fury, Price,Chisora,Mc Dermott.

I thought the UK Heavyweight scene was lookig fantastic for a while, but this shows what a depressing list we're left with.

Dallas has failed,

Olubamiwo has failed,

bar the Fury and Haye fights, Chisora has looked impressive against the calibre of opposition he has faced, but given the amount of hits he has taken along the way, he's probably already seen his peak

Fury just can't shift the chin problems

Price may be the same, but looks good so far, against relatively limited opposition

Rogan and Harrison have long dropped out of the reckoning and it shows how bad a list we're talking when a 45-year old Matt Skelton makes the list, despite some brutal defeats, going back a few years.

Haye is a pretender nowadays unless he's facing soft opposition.

I had high hopes for the current crop, but few have made the cut, and for the others, it's only a matter of time....

Going back to your list Ryan, Towers is an absolutely terrible boxer, with no power and no chin. There's very little going for him.

Sprott was only ever really a journeyman.

Sexton is a good domestic fighter, who may manage to get European recognition if he ever gets the opportunity. Whyte and Cornish have a couple of fights each.

Pretty slim pickings...

I nearly put Harrison in instead of Sprott and the only reason i put Cornish and Whyte above Sprott and Harrison is because i really couldn't face looking at a British Top 10 with all the members of the old guard (Skelton, Sprott AND Harrison). At least Danny Williams is out of the picture. It's a shame Tom Dallas didn't live up to expectations and Larry Olubamiwo didn't either as well as being a drugs cheat.

1. Wlad

2. Haye

3. Vitali

4. Povetkin

5. Solis

6. Pulev

7. Arreola

8. Wach

9. Adamek

10. Price

Before everyone gets excited, Haye ranks above Vitali based on the Chisora fights. If Vitali is impressive in his next fight then he jumps right back up to 2.

1. Haye

2. Chisora

3. Price

4. Fury

5. Sexton

Truth be told, 5th could quite easily have been any one of Skelton, Towers, Harrison, Sprott or D-Cup. The top four are streets ahead then the ones below are all of roughly the same level. Whyte and Cornish can't be considered yet. They havent done anything.

Right then fight fans, around 3 and a half hours till the Heavyweights ratings close.

Anyone else want to add their ten pence worth in then feel free to do so.

Any post registered after the 8pm deadline will NOT be counted.

Surprisingly (sarcasm) its the Klitschko's leading the way in the World Ratings. British wise we have Haye, Fury and Price flying the flag.
