Re: Cleverly is fighting in Denmark next

Unconfirmed but it looks like Cleverly fans will need to travel to Denmark next.

A big fight must mean its Mikkel Kessler, who fought at Light Heavyweight last time out.

How strange - after all, the winner of his last fight was to get a shot at the Hopkins-Dawson winner. Or was it the fight before that? Or the one before that?

Dawson is going for a bigger fight and to be honest was never in the picture. They were hoping Hopkins won. Hopkins lost and the door is still open there for Cleverly vs Hopkins but both Cleverly and Hopkins have been trying to get Shumenov. Hopkins seems keen on Shumenov while Team Cleverly want either.

To Cleverly's credit he has offered to travel to the US to fight Shumenov, while a Bhop fight makes alot more financial sense in Wales.

Cleverly and his promoter can't be faulted for chasing a big fight - if others don't want to play ball then it shouldn't be held against Nathan. Though people will - just like they held it against Joe Calzaghe despite him trying to fight the Hopkins, Beyers and Ottkes.

Kessler is looking at the LH division and it seems that he has no interest in a Froch fight in Nottingham, hence why Team Froch are offering Ooust and Pavlik the fight.

The Kessler fight makes sense to me and the whispers are there.

I like this fight.

Cleverly hasnt shown that he is true world class yet, but neither has Shunmenov and some people talk about him like hes the 2nd coming, but Kessler was in all sorts of trouble against Green before he managed to pull off the win.

Could be a good fight.
