Alan Sanchez vs Manuel Leyva in Fairfield

LOS ANGELES, August 6 - Fresh off of his nationally-televised knockout win over Artemio Reyes in April, 21-year-old welterweight prospect Alan Sanchez returns home to Fairfield, Calif. on Saturday, August 25 to headline the "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" card to face Downey's veteran Manuel Leyva in a 10 round battle at the Fairfield Sports Center. In the co-feature, Fairfield's Manuel "Tino" Avila takes on Vicente Alfaro of Norfield, Minnesota in a six round junior featherweight fight.

 

Sanchez vs. Leyva, a 10 round welterweight bout, is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Don Chargin Productions in association with Paco Presents and is sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. Doors open at 6:00 pm on fight night and the first bell rings at 7:00 pm. The TeleFutura "Sólo Boxeo Tecate" broadcast begins at 12:00 a.m. pm ET/PT.
