The_budweiser
Brazilian accuses 'malicious' Olympics judges of British bias Defeated Brazilian accuses 'malicious' Olympics judges of British bias Robson Conceicao, the Brazilian boxer defeated by Team GB lightweight Josh Taylor in last night's Round of 32, has accused the judges of bias towards the nation hosting the London 2012 Olympics. Conceicao, who pushed world amateur champion Vasyl Lomachenko all the way in last year's championships, lost 13-9 but was convinced he won every round. BoxRec News also felt the score was generous towards Taylor. "They (the judges) were very malicious. It's not fair because I think the judges favoured him because of the crowd and that shouldn't happen in a competition like this. "It hurts a lot, I was fighting really well, making the points and the referees didn't give it. I'm sad." When Conceicao was asked about the prospect of fighters defeating a British boxer in this year's Olympics, he replied, "It will be very difficult." http://news.boxrec.com/news/2012/defeated-brazilian-accuses-malicious-olympics-judges-british-bias How did you score it? iamasadlittleboy
I love the fact they mention the Lomachenko bout there, everyone needs to watch that one. Con "won" then lost on appeal after some awful judging and referering
