davemurphy
He didn't really want to write those, and I can't remember who it was that pushed him to do it, either Rob or Bud (maybe both), but I sure am glad they did. Just like Wheels hilarious fictional fight accounts, we now have a few pieces of David Allen that will remain with RN24 for it's duration.

He didn't want to write about todays current boxing DM, He said he would rather do History peices or interviews with the old guys and he enjoyed writing about that. Ah, okay, I remember he was a bit reticent to write about something, I was thinking it was the history. I knew he liked doing the interviews with the old guys and get a big kick out of that. That posthumous interview is going to seem kind of erry to read now that DA is gone.

gavpowell
I'm actually going through his entire body of work at the moment and polishing it - he always liked reading the "improved" versions, so it seemed a fitting tribute. Just wish I'd thought to do it when the bugger was still alive.
