Beatdown in C-Town Results

 

On Saturday July 29th 2012, Syndicate Promotion made their promotional debut in South Columbus, Georgia. Promoter Dave Garner put together an exciting night of action. At first glance you would think certain fighters may have been matched easy but that was not the case. Don’t take the records into consideration and watch the fights. There were several barn burners. If you missed the event you can still check it out at GFL.TV. The following is my report on the entire card:

 

Cleo Rice (0-5) vs. Eddie Morris (Pro Debut) – 4 Rounds Light Heavyweight

 

Cleo Rice (0-6) successfully avoided his 1st 1 in the win column. Eddie Morris (1-0), a successful amateur, completely outclassed the winless Rice. Morris, in the 2nd round, consistently landed powerful right hands until the ref decided Rice had enough at the 1:58 mark of the 2nd round. Morris had his head on straight taking his time to get the stoppage when Rice was hurt instead of going all out.
