Thanks a lot for this Rob I wanted to re-watch this bout and had difficulty finding it.

 

George Groves proved his worth here once again Im very impressed with him. He has a great right to follow his quick, snappy jab. Unfortunately the things which may be Groves downfall are beyond his own control. Firstly, his suseptability to cuts is something which hasn't boverd him as of yet but later in his career one loss by the fault of a cut can be career destroying for him . Secondly, he is not really a massively marketable fighter despite his clear skills and good attitude. In interviews he shows he is smart, polite and generally a decent guy but has no real zip to his personality. I believe this may be part of the reason that he has come to the US to fight relatively early in his career im comparison to other brits who usually win a world title before making the daunting treck over the Atlantic. Then again, neither was Calzaghe and look how he ended up after years of toil, greatness cannot be ignored for long, regardless of the package it comes in. This attempt to gain an impression in the US can only do good for him and I wish him the best of luck to this future champ
