The_budweiser
I scored the fight 6-6 but wouldn't complain if either fighter won by 1-2 rounds. I thought the judges had it to big.

iamasadlittleboy
Michael Tate needs sacking, at best it was 1 round either way, great fight, like you i had it 6-6. Aydin was matched at 1.10 on betfair.
WelshDevilRob
Just watched it now and scored it 7-3 with 2 tied rounds. So 117 - 113 to Robert Guerrero. Tremendous performance by Guerrero. Never really a fan of his but he showed skills, heart and determination. He outlanded and at times outfought the power puncher. Aydin just not busy enough and looking too much for the one shot. Really good fight.
WelshDevilRob
Controversial Unanimous Decision Win for The Ghost Written by Richard Allan McRae Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero 29 (18) -1 -1 -2 NC vs. Selcuk Aydin 23 (KO 17) -0 -0 12 rounds in the welterweight division, for the interim WBC welterweight title. The crowd is electric as Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero, as all have been waiting for his return to the ring after a lengthy lay off due to personal issues, his wife is a cancer survivor and Guerrero made the right choice to leave behind boxing and stood beside his wife. Selcuk Aydin waits for him in the ring, and there is a lot of bad blood between these 2. The verbal wars on Twitter and the almost 2 brawls at yesterdays pre-fight press conference. All has come to a head all the talking is done all we are waiting for is the opening bell. Both come at each other like bulldogs, we have not feeling out tonight folks. Aydin has quickly found a home for that right hand, Guerrero was only able to land a few soft combinations. Selcuk Aydin is extremely aggressive, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a boxer that fights with so much aggression, the 2nd round has been all Aydin frustrating Guerrero to the point Guerrero intentionally head butted Selcuk Aydin which the referee did not see. Through 6 rounds Aydin has fought the fight Aydin wants close inside where Selcuk Guerrero can land combinations to the head and body always finishing with the that monster right hand, Robert Guerrero has had success when he backs out and lands combinations. Every punch Guerrero lands don’t have any effect on Aydin, he just walks through them and pushes ahead. The_budweiser
Guerrero shuts the mouth of Aydin in UD: whats next for The Guerrero shuts the mouth of Aydin in UD: whats next for The Ghost? Written by Jon Campbell In the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, last night Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero (30-1-1) steps up two weight classes to Welterweight and won the WBC Interim title against the up and coming Turkish trash talker Selcuk Aydin (23-1). Guerrero has made the comeback to the ring after being relatively inactive and has done so successfully and by wide margins of 117-111 and 116-112 (twice). I will say that he did not have it all his own way, and I am sure many expected he wouldn't. Aydin took a number of rounds reasonably clear and was consistently landing hard shots on Guerrero, some believed Guerrero would struggle to take such heat at Welterweight but he managed to do so fine. The majority of the rounds were going to Guerrero simply die to volume of punches landed and overall ability was clearly in his favour. Meathead
Could have quite easily have gone the other way to be honest. It was a very close fight and a lot more enjoyable than I expected. The judges were obviously watching something else.
Skav
I had the fight a draw, 114 a-piece. I don't get what's special about Guerrero, Floyd would land right hands on him all night.

brooklynbrawler
I've never really been a fan of Guerrero's, but from the rounds I saw (Watched it live and fell asleep for rounds 7, 8, 9 mlol/ ) I thought he had the fight won. Unless Aydin did well in those rounds and took them cleanly, then I thought Guerrero did enough to win. He did a lot more spoiling in the fight than I would have hoped for, considering he is supposed to be the better, faster boxer and Aydin was definitely the aggressor (which I gave him credit for in a few of the rounds, even when he landed less) and it was also clear that Aydin's punches had more in them. I still found it difficult to give Aydin more than 3 or 4 rounds out of the 9 I saw, so I didn't think there was any controversy. Could have been a lot closer, like I say though, if Aydin won those mid rounds that I missed....
