The_budweiser
Fight Preview: Paulus Moses vs Cassius Baloyi Written by Jon Campbell This weekend two former world champions go head to head in Namibia as Paulus Moses (28-2) takes on the South African Cassius Baloyi (37-6-1) for the vacant WBO International title at Lightweight. The two are ageing and much past their best so it is going to be interesting to see which one has the most left in the tank. Moses failed in his attempt to reclaim a world title in his last fight against UK's Ricky Burns. He goes back to his homeland making a comeback bout in the hopes it will lead to him venturing further afield once again. He is the ex-WBA title holder, losing his belt to Miguel Acosta in a 6h round KO in 2010. davemurphy
There was a time in the nineties when I thought "Shy Guy" Cassius Baloyi was one the best unknown/under-appreciated fighters in the game. To be honest, I didn't even know he was still fighting...........but I bet the truth is that he shouldn't be.
WelshDevilRob
Moses has the home advantage in this Southern Africa fight and has been the more active. Baloyi was once a fine fighter but this will be his first fight in 2012 and hes only fought once in 2010 and 2011. The fight makes sense interms of location and Moses should be fresher and win on points.
