WelshDevilRob
Complete Heavyweight Prizefighter line-up Maurice Harris completes Betfair Prizefighter International Heavyweights II line-up ‘Sugar Moe’ joins Hamer, Meddoune, Nascimento and Little on June 20 Maurice Harris, Noureddine Meddoune, Marcelo Luiz Nascimento, Tor Hamer and Tom Little complete the line-up for the Betfair Prizefighter International Heavyweights II on Wednesday June 20 at York Hall, Bethnal Green, live on Sky Sports. The quintet join former World title challengers Kevin ‘Kingpin’ Johnson and Albert Sosnowski and Kent’s Tom Dallas in the 25th edition of Matchroom Sport’s eight man, one night tournament. Former USBA champ ‘Sugar Moe’ Harris grabbed the eighth and final spot in the tournament and joins fellow Americans Johnson and Hamer in a multi-nation line-up that packs a big punch. Swindon-based Moroccan Meddoune promises fireworks after winning his last four fights with first round KOs, Brazilian knockout king Nascimento has a formidable 14 KOs from 16 wins, New Yorker Hamer boasts 10 KOs from 15 wins while it’s a huge chance for 24 year old Hatfield novice Little who has three wins from three pro contests. “June 20 promises to be a real tear-up at York Hall with eight huge hitters gunning for the big prize,” said show promoter Eddie Hearn. “Johnson, Sosnowski and Harris bring plenty of calibre to the table and for Dallas it’s a big chance to crash the British heavyweight party. As for Tom Little – what a night for a 24 year old with just three fights on his CV. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain and I’m sure he will come out all guns blazing.” Read More: http://www.ringnews24.com/index.php/boxing-news/53174-complete-heavyweight-prizefighter-line-up.html#ixzz1x7We3VlQ
brooklynbrawler
Pretty staggeringly impressive lineup if they can all stay in there and there are no selection of late pullouts, like we tend to get with Prizefighter, especially where big names are concerned. Almost any of them could win it as it stands imo.
