WelshDevilRob
Good match-up. Both are Top 10 contenders and will be interesting to see if Steiglitz has moved passed Abraham.
Meathead
This is interesting purely because Abraham is in it and its at 168lbs. Stieglitz isnt a world class fighter, hes just a fighter who holds a title. Sadly there are too many of those guys about these days. If he loses to Abraham, a fighter whose run at 168lbs has been nothing short of an absolute train wreck, where does he go from there?
brooklynbrawler
Personally, I see Stieglitz doing well. He IS an underrated, if unexceptional fighter. He's a lot better than people give him credit for and if he beats Abraham, I wouldn't be at all surprised.

Meat- That's kind of what DOESN'T make me interested in it, to me AA has shown that he's simply not a player at SMW and I had thought his comeback was going to focus on trying to get back down in the middles again, where IMO he could still make some noise. There's fights I would love to see him in at MW, but at 168 then he simply becomes a gatekeeper/steppingstone and this becomes about Steiglitz trying to gauge himself vis-a-vis Ward,Froch, Kessler, and not truly a competitive contest. Lots of baloney writing the demise of Abraham, but after outspeeding and outboxing him, Dirrell turned yella and ran like a scalded cat as Abraham started reeling him in with big shots. Ward alternated running like hell from him when not wrapping him up and then listening to the home ref warn Abraham. Then Froch carefully maintained his distance from his power range, the only legit win over him. Abraham is still the strongest supermid out there stature be damned, and he should be primed for a comeback in a legit officiated fight. We'll see about all those things, but could be a good fight because Stielglitz is no bum.
