Mariusz Wach Will Target a Title in Three or Four Fights

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (26-0, 14 KOs) is looking to get a title shot in three or four fights. Wach, 6'7, will face another monster in 6'8 Tye Fields (49-4, 44 KOs) on March 30th. Wach is arriving in the United States on January 18th to begin his training camp and realizes the danger involved with Fields, at least in the early rounds where Fields is very strong and knocks most of opponents out.

 

"On January 18th I'll fly out to the United States, where I will continue to prepare for the March fight with Fields. For sure his record is impressive. He won 49 fights, 44 inside the distance. He's a solid fighter - strong, left-hander. My preparations need to begin earlier than usual. After three or four fights, I want to fight for the championship of the world. Promoters have already accepted it, so I'm hopeful. But life itself will write the screenplay," Wach told Sport Review.
