Cableaddict
Is he da' man, or a flash in the pan? With his ams record, plus KO's over Falcao and Agbeko, he sure seems legit to me. And a southpaw, to boot: https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/852450 1
Ledhed1
He's still got a lot to prove. His best win is probably Yerbossynuly. Lenox Allen wasn't bad either considering it was only Morrell's third fight. He's got a high ceiling. Benavidez is gone to 175 so there goes that fight. To be fair, there are several fighters at 168 in a similar spot as Morrell. Glossy records, loud hype, waiting for a first true test. Question is what's PBC's plan for him? How much longer does he headline at The Armory and get steered clear of his fellow top 10 contenders? There's only one da-man at 168 and until he loses at that weight, that doesn't change. Morrell's only had 10 fights; he was moved quickly to the 12 round level - and rightfully so - based on his amateur pedigree. I'm not getting impatient at the rate of his progress. Yet.
WelshDevilRob
Looks to have it all! It's nice to see a Cuban who isn't already in his 30s. Some decent contenders rising through the ranks like Erik Bazinyan, Kevin Lele Sadjo, Edgar Berlanga and Diego Pacheco. Morrell looks the best of the lot. 1
