Bear Hugger
Conor Benn will return to welterweight action against Rodolfo Orozco in Florida Conor Benn will contest his first fight since the lifting of his provisional doping suspension against Rodolfo Orozco in Florida on 23 September. Englishman Benn, 26, has not fought since April 2022 after failing two voluntary drug tests later that year. He will return to the ring against super-welterweight Orozco at a Matchroom Boxing event in Orlando. "I am undefeated in the ring, and in spirit. A return on Saturday is a step closer to redemption," Benn said. "After that, I'm putting the 147-160 divisions on notice. You are looking at a determined man with a deep desire to beat them all." Benn's promoter Eddie Hearn said: "Conor Benn is back and I'm looking forward to seeing him pick up where he left off. "He's ready to go straight in for a big fight now but his trainer Tony Sims will be pleased to get him back sooner against a game opponent in Rodolfo Orozco." WelshDevilRob
Thought it was going to happen. Seems he's been tested by VADA and test was clear.. Florida (where he's fighting) and Texas (who he holds a boxing license with) commissions, have checked with the ABC on whether he can fight. ABC have checked with the BBBoC and all ok to fight. Obviously, there is an appeal going on but no date has been given for that by the BBBoC and UKAD. WBC have cleared him and he's no longer suspended, so free to fight. Been a long running drama and I don't feel any clearer on whether he cheated or not tbh.

mofo2
TBH I won't entertain a drugs cheat and wont watch him again until he clears his name and doesn't just slip in through the back door on a techicality!!
LondonRingRules
--- Better chance he gets another tattoo than pass a drug test. 1
WelshDevilRob
It was a decent performance. But, he's too small for 154lbs and 160lbs. Needs to stick to welter. No idea why Eddie is claiming that Benn vs Eubank Jr is a huge fight? They aren't their fathers. Is it casual interest? Still don't see anyone calling for it apart from the promoters.
