BoztheMadman
Now we got several strong candidates, with GGG now all but out of the picture, we got Carlos Adames, Janibek Alimkhanuly, Liam Smith and potentially also Jermell Charlo, who may have said goodbye to 154 with his acceptance of the Canelo fight. Who do you think is the most likely candidate to take over? I think Adames looks very good at the moment but if Charlo decides to move up, it will be between those two likely. Janibek has had both good and not so good fights, but he is in the mix definitely. 1
Cableaddict
I wouldn't rule out Jermall, who has always been a better fighter than his brother. Far too young to retire. He'll be back.

So far, the only guy you can argue Jermell is ducking is Tim Tszyu.
LondonRingRules
- - Plenty to swap belts, but no domination at 160 until a new, rare talent comes along. Been like that ever since Canelo and GGG moved on.

WelshDevilRob
Just looked at the rankings on Boxrec and not much depth at 160lbs. I'd pick Carlos Adames as the best, at the moment. But, a takeover seems like it'd come from someone moving up. 1
