I don't think the fight was ever in the queue for Rickard or Kearns, nor to I believe Greb, a middleweight could beat Jack. Greb was taking losses to Tiger Flowers in 1926, the year Jack ended his 3 year Hollywood sabbatical to fight and lose to Tunney which is also the year Greb was never more in this mortal coil, retiring permanently in Valhalla.
