LondonRingRules
--- Should be another fun 154 scrap during the current Charlene Sista period of the WBC Title being held hostage. https://boxrec.com/en/event/869865/2947182 Fundora a fun, all in 6-6 freak comes to fight with a blizzard of punches currently Boxrec #2. Oh, and his sister is very nice when not punching out lights... Don't know much about Mendoza other than he's boxrec ranked and has his work cut out for him. 1

LondonRingRules
*****SPOILERS***** / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / --- Mendoza who is a surprisingly impressive physical specimen bounced Fundora's noggin off the canvas for a showy KO in the 7th, a fight Fundora had been dominating. Left hook staggered him back followed by a right hook starting him down with another left to accelerate the momentum. Now Mendoza's in line for the full middle title. Tough night for the Fundoras as Gabriel with a cut nose manages to win a decision. They don't play at boxing as the saying goes. 1

Cableaddict
Fondura doesn't protect his head enough. Seems to me he's way too confident in his offensive capabilities. This fight might be the best thing that could happen to him. He certainly had a great attitude after the loss, so he'll probably learn a lot from it. -------------- And Mendoza, man what a tough little SOB ! I love how he feinted with a low left, then went upstairs with the real one. And if anyone ever wonders why I always say that a much shorter fighter has many advantages over a much taller opponent, that KO shows one of the reasons. After the hook, Mendoza did a forward "gazelle leap" so his back foot was planted, and shot that right hand straight up. A perfect, straight & short kinetic chain from the ground to the target. Maximum energy transfer.

I look forward to watching Mendoza going forward, as he's crafty & there's no quit in him. But at the same time, I can't see him causing Charlo much trouble at all. Charlo is VASTLY more defensively-sound than the over-hyped Fondura is.
