The_budweiser Posted September 20, 2011 Share Posted September 20, 2011 Atlantic City, NJ—World-ranked Garrett Wilson, the poster boy for good fighters with bad records, makes the first defense of his USBA cruiserweight title when he faces Chuck Mussachio in the scheduled 12-round main event Saturday evening, Nov. 19, in the Grand Ballroom at Bally’s Atlantic City. First of seven fights will be 7.30 pm. Wilson, 29, of Philadelphia, PA, won the vacant USBA crown April 23 at Caesar’s Atlantic City when he avenged a previous defeat by pounding out a 12-round decision over Omar Sheika, of Paterson, NJ. Sheika had stopped Wilson in four rounds early in 2010. A pro since 2008, Wilson (left) has a deceiving 10-5-1 record, 4 K0s. Prior to beating Sheika, Wilson knocked out world-rated Aaron Williams in seven rounds in Williams’ backyard of Cleveland, OH.
