We need someone to REALLY give a talking to British officials. We're making the Germans look good.

The Germans look good to us, were not making them look good, there makign us look bad.

UK, Is the worst in Europe. Even our local guys against each other is unreal judgeing or full of poor refing decisions.

Its a boxing popularity contest.

mayweather has no class in regards to his meltdown with larry merchant.

ortiz shouldnt have headbutted but floyd was really dirty with that one-two at the end. pretty good fight up till then though. and what would a mayweather fight be without a little controversy?

no point for a rematch. fight pacquiao or GTFO floyd...

the undercard was surprisingly good:

morales gave a gutsy performance in a brutal fight

canelo looked tight i thought gomez was on the verge of an upset. the stoppage was too quick IMO, but then again gomez wasn't throwing back.

Well, now....never seen anything like that. Weird 20 seconds that was. First Ortiz has a Tyson-esqe meltdown getting frustrated and billy goating Mayweather...and then Cortez screws up YET AGAIN. Not sure if he said "box", but still he needs to control the situation and get in between him instead of looking out of the ring for some reason having a "durr" moment, and then Mayweather knocks out Ortiz. Just really, really, weird 20 seconds.

I saw nothing controversial about it. Floyd was well within his rights to do that. But his composure was classless against Merchant and a spit in the face to those that support him. He showed that he and the whole Mayweather family are scum. I'd rather throw my money down the drain than give him one penny of my money.

About the fight, the contest was more compelling than I thought. Floyd's definetely slowed down and was caught with a fair few shots in there. It wasn't one way traffic. Ortiz used his head and tried to box intelligently but his kindness lost him the belt. He should work in an office. He's not got the killer instinct to be a boxer.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch but it won't happen. It's on to Amir Khan next most probably. Or another "retirement."
