donlevy
WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is placing his money on Paul McCloskey (22-1, 12KOs) to defeat Breidis Prescott (24-2, 19KOs) on September 10 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. Khan was knocked out by Prescott in 54-seconds in 2008, but the British boxer won a six round technical decision over McCloskey in April of this year. Khan is predicting a victory for McCloskey. He feels the Irish fighter's ability to box will overcome the power of Prescott. Khan doesn't expect a war. He expects McCloskey to set the pace of the fight with a good jab and then use movement to avoid Prescott's big shots. "I really think Paul McCloskey is going to be careful in the fight. He's not going to make the mistakes that I made in the fight against Prescott. He's going to come out with his jab and think about it. I've got my money on Paul McCloskey in this fight," Khan told Sky Sports Ringside. "Since Prescott has beaten me, he's lost two or three fights. I know one fighter who beat him is Kevin Mitchell. I really think McCloskey is very tricky, very awkward, and he'll put his punches together quite well and beat Prescott." http://www.boxingscene.com/amir-khan-my-money-on-mccloskey-beat-prescott--43399
RAZZ-MCFC
Not really rocket science is it Amir. Anybody who can box and has a brain can beat Prescott. McCloskey is a decent enough technical fighter to school Prescott on the cards, his chin should hold up.

gavpowell
Kevin Mitchell showed the world how to beat Prescott, as he managed not to get knocked down by a jab in the process ;)
Wheelchair
I don't think this fight is worthy of much attention TBH.
Joe Ko
I believe it will be a really tough fight, Prescott was drained at 135 and is stronger and boxing better at 140lbs, Prescott could take this one.....
iamasadlittleboy
Kevin Mitchell showed the world how to beat Prescott, as he managed not to get knocked down by a jab in the process ;) Mitchell just did what Vazquez did for 9 rounds (despite the cards it really was that thorough of a victory). Had it not been for one judge not watching the fight Prescott would have been, forgotten almost immediately. Think it was Dave Moretti who's card looked a joke, should have been pulled in county if the commission for it.
