Dillian Whyte has an immediate opportunity to exact revenge over Alexander Povetkin on Saturday November 21 as the Heavyweight rivals collide in a blockbuster rematch, live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.

Whyte (27-2, 18 KOs) was sensationally knocked out by Povetkin (36-2-1, 25 KOs) as the Russian viciously halted ‘The Body Snatcher’s’ World Title ambitions in the finale of Matchroom Fight Camp in Brentwood, Essex, last month.

I'd anticipate that Whyte is a bit more conservative this time and boxes behind a long jab. There's no such thing as a lucky punch but I don't see Whyte being caught like that again. I'm somewhat surprised that the rematch has come so quickly though.

This is exactly what caused his downfall - sitting outside fast-food chicken outlets in a convertible Bentley at 4am in Brixton, hollering at fanny is not conducive to the lifestyle that gets you onto the top pedestal in world level heavyweight boxing.

You can take the boy outta the jungle, but you cant take the jungle outta the boy - so apt for Whyte. Far too soon for a knee jerk rematch.

Waited for 3 years for a chance at Wilder and sniffed it up his nose. Well done, Dillian

Hmm. To be fair, Whyte won every single round, heck every single minute of every single round, until the end.

Povetkin's toughness and vast experience got him the win, but he was looking like cow dung. Granted, Whyte was looking like cow cud, (or parakeet dung, or something else slightly less revolting when you step in it) but he was in reasonable shape and fought "reasonably well," going by Dillian Whyte standards. (Which OK, isn't saying much.)

--- POV was thudding in some good body shots and tit for tat until the 4th where he looked done is hardly winning every rd unless you are a bought judge. In the 5th Whyte steams in for the finish and POV feints a body to bring his gloves down for the uppercut finisher. Beautiful price of boxing by POV who is seldom known for beauty. Had he that nuance at his debut, we'd be talking all time great, but that ain't the life works.
