LondonRingRules
--- Weighin today in LA with fight and *****SPOILER ALERT on Saturday after their pro debut. Paul tall, rangy and naturally built like a fighter showed surprising good form last go round. KSI shorter with tubbiness was useless with wild haymakers like he'd never been in fight before or even seen a pro fight. Both more extensive pro training and will be using 10 oz gloves in the cruiser division, so I speculate a KO the likely result. On DAZN with BJSaunders defending is WBO bauble on what could be seen as the undercard. Devin Haney was supposed to be fighting, but not listted as part of the card on boxrec. We shake see at the weighin yay or nay!

It's included if people wanna watch this shite :haha: Haney is back on the card now against undefeated Dominican Alfredo Santiago Alvarez (12-0), only fought out of his home country though. LondonRingRules
--- KSI given 5 min recovery time for a nominal foul by Paul scores a split decision. The fight was so sloppy I refused to score it. Jack Reiss played a good clown ref.

Ton
Didn't see the event but have heard plenty of praise along the lines of "it wasn't pretty, but they had a war and deserve credit". It is what it is. Eddie will be smiling all the way to the bank....10million people maybe tuned in....and boxing might have 100k NEW fans who are now all in on future boxing events...
LondonRingRules
--- Main event compared to Haney and BJ undercard was like Fight of the Year! Undercard was like letting folk into a free venue and then charging them when they attempt to flee the premises!
selij
Ive seen a thousand worse CW fights than the main event - which is one if not THE biggest PPV of the year. Undercard contained 2 world title fights. All good for a tenner. Millions more neutrals converted to boxing for a weekend; with a knock on effect of a good few hundred permanently converted. You can sneer all you like Bobby but this was boxing FTW. :thumb:
BoztheMadman
I hear Paul shoulda won. He scored one kd and got one or two points deducted?
LondonRingRules
I hear Paul shoulda won. He scored one kd and got one or two points deducted? --- Two points to negate his KD of KSI. Interesting that Reiss didn't call the KD of Paul. Looked like he may have slipped as KSI landed a rabbit as he was going down or already down. Later Paul actually did slip in a wet corner that was not disputed.
