Sat night and the controversial ending reminds when Shuan Anderson fought Johny Armour for the Commonwealth Title in London many years ago.Shuan was trailing on points but in no trouble when Armour sustained a horrific cut in the 10th round. His corner sent him out in the 11th round in a last gasp effort to stop Shuan as no way would have he been able to come out for the last round. It was Shaun who was dishing it out when the ref Roy Francis stopped the fight in Armour"s favour. The official verdict that Shaun was too far behind on points to win the fight.Later in Glasgow over a drink Roy [ref] told me he had done it help his pal Ernie and that in his opinion Shuan was not good enough to hold the title.I am first to admit that Shuan was just a very brave honest to goodness plodder who always gave his best but that night in London he was robbed of the opportunity to win a major title to have on his C.V. - Alex Morrison
