This MANDATORY for Vazquez comes despite the fact the Mexican dominated and dropped the Panamanian just 20 months ago in a fight that was scored 120-107 (twice) and 119-108. Since then Diaz has won two bouts, stopping Stanley Mendez and Mathin Gethin, with the Gethin bout some how acting as an eliminator whilst Vazquez has run up decision victories against Daniel Attah, Marvin Quintero and Mercito Gesta.
