Re: A weekend of Heavyweight fights - Results & Spoilers

'The Pike' Adrian Granat, of Sweden, gets floored twice against Ukrainian Alexander Dimitrenko. It's all over in the first round. IBF International heavyweight title on the line and now gets 34-year-old Dimitrenko back in the mix. Granat is 25-years-old and not sure how he comes back from this. Both tall and looked the same height. Granat very easy to hit.

In a battle of PED Warlords - Poland's Mariusz Wach wins a UD over 12rounds against Erkan Teper. 2nd loss in a row for the German. Wach is 37-years-old and I doubt this win springboards him into a title-shot.

Travis Kauffman vs Amir Mansour. Mansour takes a close decision and puts himself back in the mix. Kauffman has found his level and that is below contender.

The Junior Fa bandwagon rolls on. The 27-year-old from Papakura, New Zealand is now 11-0, 7 KOs. He gets a Majority decision over journeyman Daniel Tai. The three judges scores make interesting reading: Greg Burgess 100-90, John Conway 98-94, Adrian Bentley 95-95.
Fa won the vacant New Zealand Professional Boxing Association (NZPBA) heavyweight title.

Granat losing was a major upset, he was about 1/12 to win!

--- Hard to believe Dimitrenko is back in the picture. Surely not even the WBC would rate him. Btw, solid rd by rd of last night and subsequent summation write up. Great weekend for boxing.

Thought 'Kingpin' had retired after getting destroyed in two rounds by Anthony Joshua?

Dimitrenko is a skilled fighter, but he has psychological problems. If he lands first, he's always dangerous.
