Evidently, Ring magazine (that bastion of pugilistic integrity ;-) ) Has updated their ratings, and finally found a tiny shred of moral fortitude.

I haven't seen any actual articles on this yet, but check out the ratings:

and CW: Cruiserweight Ratings by Ring Magazine

I guess this has to do with both of them failing to fight a top-ranked opponent in years.

OK, it's only Ring magazine, who still ranks Ward in their top-ten P4P list (GTFOH with that noise) but it's still sweet.

 

Imagine if the WBC were to follow suit with Stevenson?

Golovkin should be the champ at Middleweight but they wouldn't dare drop Canelo. Oscar wouldn't be happy.

Well, technically Cotto was a legitimate champion - he was 155 for Martinez. And of course, there are no minumum weights for title fights, only maximums.
