Re: Amir Mansour Ready to Break Into Mainstream

I tend to expect people who make a claim to actually back it up. Klitschko's have fought as many Haymon fighters as they have Teiken fighters, a big fat 0. Maybe if Fujimoto signed for Teiken he'd have just as much of a chance as if Mansour was a Haymon fighter. A lovely, round 0%

Er...whats your point?

Can you actually answer the question? Or not? I'll assume not as you keep going off on tangents rather than trying to answer, but we'll try again.

"How many Haymon fighters have the Klitschko's fought?" Don't worry if the answer, as we all know, is 0 because at least it's an answer.

--- Already gave you the answer, the same number of Wilder, Jennings, and Scott fighters. We can include Fat Man Walking Ruiz in that batch and let you find a grade school nephew to do the addition of Zero+Zero+Zero+Zero+ to provide you with the answer.

To extrapolate truly Sad logic further, since the Ks haven't fought the above fighters ever, it behooves those fighters to change their names to get a shot at the Ks. Truly Sad me thinks.....

Now, explain why Wilder, Jennings and Scott were brought in to the conversation considering my point was that if Mansour was serious about getting a title fight he should head to Germany, not fight against fellow no-marks in the US. There is no point going to Haymon if you're a Heavyweight wanting to fight the true champion, you're much better off signing with Sauerland who seems to be one of the few promoters who actually cares about the division.

--- Basic math 101: zero is zero no matter how many names someone gives it. A rose by any other name, ect

Basic Heavy 101: The Ks have an adversarial relationship with Saurland aka DKing affiliated, so no, the Ks will only fight a Sauerland fighter if it's mandatory purse bid, aka Povetkin. In turn, Sauerland really doesn't want to risk his stars being beat up by the Ks, aka Povetkin.

Mansour has to have an offer to go to Germany, but guess what, even if they were interested in a 41 year old fringe contender, he wouldn't be allowed in because of a rap sheet that Floydy and Tyson could only envy. Why does all this have to be explained to you who spends more apparent time pouring over fights and news than any sane person has a right to? The Ks currently have a dynamic working relationship with Hayman who if he's careful protecting Wilder, might well get a shot next year.

Bottomline, even if Mansour stays undefeated, he's not likely to ever get a title shot because there's no money in that fight and too many problems that can't be ironed out, but IF anyone could iron them, Hayman's the go to guy....end of......

What your describing is exactly what's keeping people lined up at Al Hayman's door. To the point that I don't know that he'd bother letting Mansour in said door. While it might appear to Boz that we are bashing his boy, the sad fact is that he's likely to get lost in the shuffle and passed over for higher profile undefeateds/unprovens. It kind of sucks that (IMO) he's on a level with Wilder but doesn't get Wilder's ridiculous attention level for doing even less.

Wait you're telling me K2 don't fight Sauerland..yet in the last few years they have fought Povetkin, Pulev is lined up and Boytsov was lined up prior to losing to Leapai. It might take them getting mandatory fights but Sauerland fighters seem to have a knack of getting those mandatory match ups.

Wilder won't be getting a shot at Wladimir and we all know that.

Mansour would need god himself to get a title fight and as we all know, fighters thank "god and Al Haymon", not just Al.

--- No my dearest chap, you made that up yourself. No matter how addled you muddy up the picture, Hayman is becoming the go to guy for the Ks by recent voluntary professional associations.

That the Ks have a long time adversarial relationship with Sauerland is well known. That doesn't mean that the Ks won't ever fight one of his fighters again since he has his pick of half the heavy prospects and contenders operating out of Europe. It means for the depth of his stable, the fights will be few and far between since the Ks are now picking up prospects and also work in the US with Main Events as well as Hayman.

Don't you have some junior strawweights you should be raving about? There's your ticket!
