Have Ring swayed too far the other way?

Re: Have Ring swayed too far the other way?

We all criticised Ring for ranking some GBP fighters too highly but just going through them now I've spotted a few WTF's.

I.e. Kevin Mitchell is #8 at 135 whilst Omar Figueroa is UNRANKED

At 122 Frampton is #1 AHEAD of Leo Santa Cruz at #3

Have Ring started to respond to complaints a little bit too much?

Don't bother asking Doug Fisher, he'll deny they even listen to criticism, which leaves no explanation as to why they go back on forth on the same issues ;)

The Ring has very few criteria they use in rankings. It's a poll ranking of about 50 voters and then edited to personal and/or published guidelines according to the editor's whim. If you were to provide your own rankings, well nuff said!

One thing I will give Ring credit for is they continue to explain their moves. I don't always agree with them, but they do address the issue when someone moves up, moves down, moves in, or moves out. The Orgs don't even bother with doing that anymore, they just count on us not to notice.
